Active Transportation is the primary focus of Sumire Gant Consulting (SGc), with an emphasis on equity and the engagement of diverse populations. Equal access to safe walking, biking and transit is important, particularly for underserved communities of color that are more likely to rely on active transportation as their primary mode, and are often overly represented among those pedestrians and bicyclists that are injured or killed while traveling on the road.
